Job summary

MNC Industrial Automation Company is seeking an experienced automation technician to install, test, and maintain systems across on-site environments. You will configure controllers, PCs, and related software while ensuring customer requirements are met with professionalism.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in automation, with hands-on skills in servo motors, robots, and software setup. The role offers a structured workday (8:30am–5:30pm) and variable bonus plus welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years in automation systems setup or service support.
• Experience with servo motors and robots.
• Experience installing software and configuring PCs and machines.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain automation systems onsite.
• Set up electronics controllers, PCs and install software.
• Perform onsite buy-off per customer requirements.
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes for repairs.
• Read electrical/electronic circuits and machine logfiles to diagnose problems.
• Repair electrical components and set up robot software and PC software.
• Interface between customers and the company to ensure smooth service.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Respond to phone and onsite support requests per SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate service reports promptly.

Job Scope

• Automation system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Setup electronics controllers, PC, and install software.
• Perform onsite machine buy-off as per agreed customer requirements
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes to effectively repair equipment failures.
• Able to analyze electrical/electronic circuit, read machine logfiles to identify root cause for the problem
• Able to repair electrical components, setup robot software, PC software.
• Establish a seamless interface between customers and company.
• Demonstrate high integrity and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Spearhead customer issues and coordinate with internal departments and customer stakeholders to resolve them efficiently. Escalate to management if necessary.
• Respond to phone support and onsite support requests in accordance with SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate, detailed service reports in a timely manner.

Requirement

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experiences in automation systems setup or service support
• Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots
• Proficiency in installing software, configuration and setting up PCs and machines
