Alibaba is seeking an HR professional to support end-to-end HR operations for logistics teams in Sri Lanka. Responsibilities include onboarding, offboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and maintaining employee records in compliance with local laws.

The role requires collaboration with business leaders to forecast staffing needs, facilitate recruitment, and ensure timely fulfillment of hiring requirements across warehouse, logistics, and frontline teams.

Qualificações

• Support end-to-end HR operations for Logistics functions of Daraz Sri Lanka , including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee records management in compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Partner with business leaders to understand staffing needs, facilitate recruitment coordination, and ensure timely fulfillment of operational hiring requirements across warehouse, logistics, and frontline teams.
• Administer employee lifecycle processes, maintain accurate HRIS data, and generate regular operational reports on headcount, attrition, and workforce metrics to support decision-making.
• Manage and support day-to-day HR systems, including HRIS, WFM, biometric, attendance, and other relevant HR platforms.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and policy rollouts tailored to the operational workforce, fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures, resolving issues promptly or escalating as needed in alignment with HR service standards.

Position Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in HR or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of HR experience, preferably in fast-paced operational environments such as e-commerce, retail, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of Sri Lankan labor regulations and statutory compliance requirements, with hands-on experience in payroll support and HR documentation.
• Proficient in HRIS, WFM, Biometric systems, with solid data management and reporting skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and operate effectively in a high-volume, execution-driven setting.
