Alibaba is seeking a seasoned security leader to oversee the physical and operational security strategy for Daraz operations in Colombo, Sri Lanka. You will align with Alibaba International's standards and local regulations while guiding policies, risk assessments, and incident responses.

The role requires a decade of security management experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of Sri Lankan laws, data privacy, and labor compliance to protect assets and people across multiple sites.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive security management experience, with at least 5 in leadership within ecommerce, logistics, or multinational environments.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing integrated security programs across physical security, loss prevention, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of local Sri Lankan laws on security operations, data privacy, and labor compliance; fluency in English is required, Sinhala or Tamil is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making under pressure, and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the overall physical and operational security strategy for Daraz operations in Colombo, Sri Lanka, ensuring alignment with Alibaba International's global security standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, and protocols covering asset protection, access control, incident response, crisis management, and business continuity.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, including theft, fraud, workplace violence, or cyber-physical breaches, and coordinate with local law enforcement and internal compliance teams as needed.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits across facilities, warehouses, offices, and logistics hubs to identify vulnerabilities and enforce corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with third-party security vendors, monitor service performance, and ensure cost-effective deployment of security personnel and technology (e.g., CCTV, intrusion detection, access systems).

Position Requirement

• 1、Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 2、Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or retail security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within e-commerce, logistics, or multinational environments - experience in South Asia or emerging markets is highly preferred.
• 3、Proven expertise in designing and executing integrated security programs, including physical security, loss prevention, emergency response, and insider threat mitigation.
• 4、Strong understanding of local Sri Lankan laws and regulations related to security operations, data privacy, and labor compliance; fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Sinhala or Tamil considered an advantage.
• 5、Demonstrated leadership, decision-making under pressure, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive security culture across all levels of the organization.
