Azul is seeking a skilled data engineering leader for its CRM Analytics data team in Barueri, São Paulo. You will set standards for data governance, automate components, and guide architectural decisions across data pipelines and platforms.

You will collaborate with business, CRM, product, and technology teams to translate strategic needs into scalable, compliant data solutions, while tracking quality and efficiency metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with advanced SQL.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and modern analytics architectures.
• Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality practices.
• Knowledge of Brazil's LGPD, data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Experience with code version control, CI/CD, and data engineering best practices.
• Preferred: Track record of technical leadership or serving as a subject-matter reference on data teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with pipeline orchestration and automation tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Machine Learning and MLOps.
• Preferred: Experience with event-driven architecture and data streaming.
• Preferred: Experience at large companies or in high-volume data and customer environments.
• Preferred: Experience with CRM, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, or Loyalty.

Responsabilidades

• Define and enhance standards, frameworks, and best practices for development, documentation, governance, quality, monitoring, and observability of data solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and reuse components.
• Serve as the area’s primary technical reference, supporting the team with complex challenges, technical reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Explore new technologies and tools within the data ecosystem, assessing applicability and adoption strategies.
• Ensure solutions align with data governance, security, privacy, quality, and responsible data use guidelines.
• Collaborate with business, CRM, product, and technology teams to translate strategic needs into scalable data solutions.
• Track data product quality, availability, efficiency, and impact metrics, promoting continuous improvement.
