Job Summary:
Perform timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to support Caterpillar's business processes.

What you will do:

These are the wide range of accounting activities those are being performed at COE. Individual Job Duties/Responsibilities may include:

• Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis.
• Standard Cost Revision (SCR) and current cost grief resolution.
• Capital Management: Capital expenditure forecasting and reporting.
• Financial Analysis: accomplish a high level of compilation with a broad range of accounting analysis, review data input, advise internal customers on accuracy of cost data, generate reports and provide commentary to leadership on costs accuracy, to serve as a cost governance person.
• Supporting strategic decisions of medium to high complexity by conducting financial analyses for various projects and cost reduction programs, as well as comparative studies on the competitiveness of machines/components produced in different locations.
• Supporting improvement projects and other initiatives related to Caterpillar's strategic business, while communicating with other Caterpillar factories worldwide.
• Providing financial recommendations to global teams through economic feasibility studies for localizations, resourcing, insourcing, outsourcing, and other studies. Delivering timely financial analysis for investment decision-making, including discounted cash flow, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), OPACC, and risk and sensitivity analysis.

What you will have – Skills:

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Effective Communications & Managing Multiple Priorities: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial/cost analysis and product structure.
• Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Top Candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
• Proven experience with analytical and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python).
• Robust experience in financial analysis, costs, and product structures.
• Focus on process improvement, leading initiatives and projects with the team.
• Project leadership / Black Belt.
• MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
• Pre-Advanced/Advanced English.
