Amazon.com.br is looking for a Commercial Planning Manager to join our Retail team in Brazil.
In this position you will be responsible for driving, autonomously, the strategy and execution of high impact projects related to Demand Planning, Forecast, Buying, Vendor Performance and Inventory Management, to maximize product availability, margins and inventory turns, in a scalable way, for your own Product Family or Retail wise.
The right candidate thrives in a high energy and speed environment, where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel and can work with autonomy.

Key job responsibilities

The Commercial Planning Manager will drive, design and manage scalable solutions to improve Inventory metrics, Planning, Buying and vendors operational excellence creating role model processes.
Main goal is to assure Amazon will have optimal inventory level available to fulfill customer’s needs with minimum working capital to support Product Family growth.

1. Supply Chain operation review using large amount of data to identify root cause of operational issues;
2. Define action plan and projects to eliminate defects on Supply Chain, creating sustainable results in the long term;
3. Cooperate and build relationship with the Product Family Team and Central Team to leverage improvements through new processes and projects;

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Administration or similar Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics discipline);
2. Solid experience in Supply Chain management, performance metrics, project management, retail and/or consulting;
3. Strong ownership, analytical skills, ability with numbers, problem solving and project management skills;
4. High level of self-organization, prioritization and time management;
5. Fluent in English and Portuguese;
6. Flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, autonomous and comfortable with large databases and tools;
7. Experience with SQL;
8. Ability to understand needs and drive alternative solutions for operational processes;
9. Experience with purchasing and inventory management in e-commerce/retail or project management in consulting company;
10. Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
