Amazon is seeking a Tax Planning Manager to focus on direct and indirect tax planning for Brazil and other LATAM countries.

This position will work closely with business teams and the tax department to understand transactions and initiatives across the region, providing strategic guidance on the tax implications within the AWS space.

• 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, or Finance with 5 years of experience in Brazilian indirect taxes
• Proven experience advising on Brazilian indirect and/or direct taxes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to translate complex tax implications to non-tax audiences
• Ability to relate technical tax processes to non-technical internal teams
• Excellent relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Data analytics skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all management levels
• Detail-oriented with ownership of projects
• Ability to work effectively on milestone-driven projects
• Adaptability to fast-paced, informal, and ambiguous environments
