Grupo CVLB, a Brazilian retail company comprising CASA&VIDEO and Le biscuit, seeks a Category Analyst to analyze performance, monitor profitability, and define assortment strategies aligned with market trends and consumer profiles. The role collaborates with Planning, Marketing, Logistics and Operations to ensure execution of commercial plans.

You will support supplier negotiations, optimize stock coverage, and prepare analyses to guide decision-making.

• Analyze category performance, monitoring sales, margin, inventory, stock coverage, and profitability indicators, and propose actions to drive performance
• Support commercial negotiations with suppliers by seeking the best terms, business opportunities, and increased competitiveness
• Develop commercial strategies and define the category assortment, considering market trends, seasonality, and consumer profiles
• Monitor product availability, inventory turnover, and stock coverage, taking preventive action to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
• Prepare management analyses and reports to support decision-making and the monitoring of commercial results
• Partner with internal teams such as Planning, Marketing, Logistics, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies
• Work at Grupo CVLB, a Brazilian retail company comprising CASA&VIDEO and Le biscuit

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• Previous experience in Commercial or Retail operations, preferably managing Laundry and Home Essentials categories
• Experience with commercial negotiations and supplier management
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and SAP is desirable
