Business Development Representative - Drive Growth and Revenue at WiseBooks

Are you a reliable , analytical , and self-confident individual who thrives in a high-urgency environment? WiseBooks is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and identifying new potential customers through cold calling , email outreach , social selling , and networking. This is a fast-paced , results-driven position that requires someone who is technically oriented , has excellent systems management skills, and can follow through on every opportunity.

You’ll be expected to qualify both inbound and outbound leads, set up meetings or demos for the sales team, and track your progress using CRM tools. If you are someone who is driven by meeting monthly and quarterly targets , enjoys a structured process , and excels at managing multiple tasks simultaneously , this position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to WiseBooks' growth.

The Opportunity

As the Business Development Representative at WiseBooks, you will:

  • Prospect and identify new customers via cold calling , email outreach , social selling , and networking.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, setting up meetings or demos for the sales team (or closing deals yourself, depending on the structure).
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential clients, consistently following up to keep them engaged.
  • Understand client needs and effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and revenue.
  • Track all outreach and communication using CRM tools like HubSpot , Salesforce , etc.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to better qualify leads and refine outreach strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in sales or BDR roles
  • Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple conversations and leads at once.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude; comfortable working independently .
  • Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot , Salesforce , LinkedIn Sales Navigator , etc. is a plus.
  • Previous BDR experience is a bonus but not required.

  • You struggle with managing multiple priorities or fail to follow structured workflows .
  • You are uncomfortable working independently or without constant supervision.
  • You are not comfortable with cold outreach or lead qualification .
