Right Recruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer for injection molding and precision tooling across medical/auto-focused manufacturing. You will drive defect reduction, FPY improvements, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced plant environment.
Responsibilities include optimizing molding processes, collaborating with toolroom and OEM teams, and leading preventive maintenance initiatives to ensure peak performance and product quality.

Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Senior Engineer.
Responsible for optimizing injection molding equipment and processes and driving shop floor improvements
Works with production, toolroom, and OEM teams to fix molding issues, improve FPY, reduce scrap, and maintain machine reliability.
Diagnose and solve complex molding defects (e.g., flash, sink marks, short shots, dimensional instability, jetting) in direct collaboration with production and toolroom teams.
Establish robust, repeatable Scientific Molding processes (Decoupled Molding principles) to ensure process window consistency across all shifts.
Lead process optimization projects targeting scrap reduction, cycle time efficiency, and sustained FPY improvements.
Partner with the toolroom team to troubleshoot mold-to-machine interface issues, hot runner systems, core pulls, and mechanical alignment.
Participate in DFM review with tooling team inevaluatingappropriatemachine capability, tonnage requirements,barrel size,hydraulic/electric injection stability, and clamp parallelism to ensure presses operate at peak technical specifications.
Standardize machine setup, parameter monitoring, and calibration routines for high-precision molds,including any associated EOAT.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for OEM service engineers during advanced maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
Audit and refine preventive maintenance (PM) routines executed by maintenance staff, focusing on critical wear points that impact product quality and machine availability.
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA/FMEA) on chronic equipment breakdowns to shift maintenance strategy from reactive troubleshooting to predictive health monitoring.
Establish clear technical SOPs for machine setup, troubleshooting protocols, and parameter lock-down.
Upskill and mentor line technicians and maintenance personnel on advanced machine diagnostics and scientific molding practices.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
Min 5–8 years of hands‑on technical experience with high‑precision injection molding machines (e.g., Arburg, Engel, KraussMaffei, Sumitomo, Fanuc) and Hot Runner Systems (Husky, Ewikon, Yudo, Mold Masters, Guenther, etc.)
Expertise in machine hydraulics, servo‑electric systems, PLCs, and mold design principles.
Expertise in different Hot Runner Systems troubleshooting and technology is advantageous.
Strong root‑cause analysis (RCA) skills (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
Hands‑on mindset, strong problem‑solving initiative, and an ability to train and mentor line staff effectively.
