Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in Brazil is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to report to the Head of Quality, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), and drive improvements for process effectiveness and product quality.

You will collaborate with customers and Operations to ensure products meet approved requirements, analyze metrics, and lead RCA/CAPA activities to prevent issues across fabrication and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in managing QMS in metalworking/auto engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 22301 is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of mechanical fabrication and GD&T requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support QMS implementation and maintenance, reporting to the Head of Quality.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance process effectiveness and product quality.
• Collaborate with customers and Operations to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Prepare and present quality performance metrics for data-driven decisions.
• Conduct RCA and implement CAPA to address issues.
• Analyze customer complaints, coordinate investigations, and resolve issues.
• Perform quality inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies during manufacturing and testing.
• Support inspection, testing, and acceptance to verify quality compliance.
• Travel locally and overseas for customer visits, inspections, audits, and work assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Head of Quality and support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with customers and Operations teams to ensure products are manufactured and serviced in accordance with approved requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare, analyze, and present quality performance metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address and prevent process-related issues.
• Analyze customer complaints, coordinate investigations, and provide timely and effective resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Conduct quality inspections of fabricated parts, assemblies, and products during manufacturing and acceptance testing.
• Support inspection, testing, and acceptance activities to verify compliance with specified quality requirements.
• Travel locally and overseas as required for customer visits, inspections, audits, and work assignments.

Job Requirement:

• Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 2 years of relevant experience in management of Quality Management Systems (QMS) within metalworking and automotive engineering.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 22301 standards is an advantage.
