Volvo Group in Curitiba, Brazil, is seeking a Telemetry & Performance Analyst to support Volvo Connect and CIV for customers and dealers across LATAM. The role is on-site in Curitiba with travel across Latin America and close collaboration with dealers and stakeholders.

You will handle connectivity data, guidance on reports, and remote software updates, driving KPIs and continuous service improvements in a growing digital services portfolio.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with telematics, fleet management, connected vehicles, or technical support for commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of Volvo Connect and CIV or similar telematics platforms; understanding fuel efficiency drivers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-line technical support for Volvo Connect and CIV to customers and dealers.
• Register and follow up support cases in the ticketing system; escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and data issues; identify data gaps and drive resolution with teams.
• Assist customers in using driving and performance data and interpreting reports and indicators.
• Guide customers in data usage and APIs; support data integration inquiries.
• Execute Remote Software Download (RSDW) and monitor updates on connected vehicles.

Volvo Trucks Latin America is looking for a Telemetry & Performance Analyst to join our team in Curitiba, Brazil. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers and dealers on Volvo Connect and CIV (Condução Inteligente Volvo) across the region — handling support requests, troubleshooting connectivity and data issues, and guiding customers in the use of the tools — and will also execute Remote Software Download (RSDW) activities on connected vehicles.

This is an on-site role in Curitiba, where you will work closely with dealers, market companies, and internal stakeholders to directly influence how our customers experience and retain Volvo digital services.

What You’ll Do

As Telemetry & Performance Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for technical questions and issues related to Volvo Connect and CIV, ensuring that customers and dealers receive fast, accurate, and effective support in their daily operations. You will work hands-on with the tools and vehicle data, resolving cases within the agreed service levels, supporting customers in the correct use of the services, and executing remote software updates on connected vehicles.

Key responsibilities include

• Providing first-line technical support for Volvo Connect and CIV — resolving issues and clarifying questions from customers, dealers, and internal teams with accuracy and speed, within the agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Registering and following up support cases — documenting each request in the ticketing system, keeping customers informed on status, and escalating complex cases to second-level and HQ technical teams.
• Troubleshooting connectivity and data issues — identifying vehicles with connectivity problems, data gaps, or inconsistencies, and driving their resolution together with dealers and technical teams.
• Supporting customers in the use of driving and performance data — helping customers access and interpret Volvo Connect and CIV reports and indicators (fuel consumption, idling, speed, braking, driver behavior), and pointing out improvement opportunities.
• Guiding customers in the use of data and APIs — supporting customers and integrators with access, setup, and questions related to Volvo Connect data integration.
• Executing Remote Software Download (RSDW) — carrying out and monitoring remote software updates on connected vehicles, including vehicle eligibility checks, customer communication, execution follow-up, and handling of failed or pending updates with dealers and technical teams.
• Keeping RSDW records up to date — maintaining update logs, status, and success rates, and reporting technical deviations to the responsible teams.
• Tracking support KPIs, SLAs, and PIs — following up support and RSDW indicators through Power BI dashboards and acting on deviations.
• Supporting the dealer network and CIV Advisors — providing technical guidance, training, and knowledge-base content to strengthen the correct use of connected services.
• Contributing to continuous improvement — identifying recurring issues, investigating root causes (PDCA), and suggesting improvements to support processes and documentation.

Who Are You?

You are a hands-on, service-oriented professional with solid technical skills and a genuine customer mindset. You enjoy helping people, solving technical problems, and explaining complex topics in a simple and clear way. You work in an organized manner, prioritize well, and deliver with quality and on time. You investigate problems until you find the root cause, use data to support your analyses, and are always looking to learn and develop yourself.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Computer), Information Systems, or related fields.
• Experience in telematics, fleet management, connected vehicles, or technical support for commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of Volvo Connect and CIV (or similar telematics platforms), and of the main drivers of fuel efficiency and driving performance in heavy trucks, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of vehicle electronic architecture, software updates, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Tech Tool) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in Power BI and Excel; familiarity with APIs is an advantage.
• Structured problem-solving (PDCA, root cause analysis) and Lean mindset; Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Customer-focused, with the ability to communicate technical content clearly to customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
