Amazon Logistics Expansion Program Manager, Planning & Expansion

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is seeking an experienced project and program manager to oversee multiple projects supporting our growth. You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, working closely with leadership and support areas to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Your role will include ensuring the adoption of appropriate products and tools to enhance performance and quality for our customers.

To succeed, you must be able to collaborate across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for diverse audiences. The role requires thinking big, moving quickly, and adapting frequently in a dynamic environment. While prior logistics experience is advantageous, hands-on operational experience is essential.

Key job responsibilities

1. Manage complex operational projects end-to-end, accountable for key metrics and overall results.
2. Own project governance, utilizing effective methodologies, tools, and communication skills.
3. Analyze long-term planning data to identify density opportunities and support strategic expansion planning.
4. Develop business cases for new initiatives based on data from multiple stakeholders.
5. Identify opportunities for defect reduction, efficiency improvements, cost savings, and growth.
6. Perform problem solving by evaluating alternatives and identifying innovative, cost-effective solutions.

A day in the life

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Tax, Legal, Accounting, Tech) to define project requirements.
• Manage project implementation, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
• Work with team members to promote project adoption across the AMZL network.

About the team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's 'Last Mile' delivery service, responsible for delivering packages globally. The Planning & Expansion (P&E) team in Brazil oversees expansion initiatives, coordinating efforts on major projects that enable new operations, sales channels, transport modes (fleet types, micromobility), and network growth.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in project or program management
• Experience managing program strategy, delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Proficiency in using data and metrics for improvement
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
