Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is seeking an experienced project and program manager to oversee multiple projects supporting our growth. You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects, managing their development from scoping to execution, and ensuring successful completion and adoption. Collaboration with leadership and support teams is essential to identify growth opportunities and implement the right products and tools to enhance performance and quality for customers.

To succeed, you must work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for diverse audiences. The role requires big-picture thinking, agility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Prior logistics experience is advantageous, but hands-on operations experience is essential.

Key job responsibilities

1. Manage complex operational projects from inception to completion, accountable for key metrics and results.
2. Oversee Project Governance using effective methodologies, tools, and communication skills.
3. Analyze long-term planning data to identify density opportunities and support strategic expansion planning.
4. Develop business cases for new initiatives using data from various stakeholders.
5. Identify opportunities for defect reduction, efficiency improvements, cost savings, and growth.
6. Evaluate alternatives and develop innovative, frugal solutions through problem-solving.

A day in the life

• Collaborate with teams across Amazon to define project requirements, including Ops, Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Tech.
• Manage project implementation, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
• Work closely with team members to promote project adoption across the AMZL network.

About the team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's 'Last Mile' delivery service, responsible for delivering packages worldwide. The Planning & Expansion (P&E) team in Brazil manages AMZL expansion initiatives, coordinating local efforts on major projects that enable new operations, sales channels, modes of transport (fleet types, micromobility), and network expansion.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience leading program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and reporting to senior leadership
• Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven improvements
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
