Job summary

The Blue Barrel Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Finance & Accounting leader to oversee the function, including accounts payable, inventory management, taxation, financial reporting, and team leadership from Singapore.

You will handle full set of accounts, prepare monthly management and financial reports, monitor project budgets, manage month-end closes, GST submissions, ECI computations, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. Strong Excel skills and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in accounting or other professional accounting qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling marine or shipping invoices.
• Meticulous, analytical, and problem-solving.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance & Accounting function, which includes accounts payable, inventory management, taxation, financial reporting, and leadership to the team.

• Evaluate and ensure continual improvement in operational efficiency, costeffectiveness, and internal controls
• Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
