PERSOL is assisting a well-known client in finding an Accounts Executive (AR) to manage credit and collections in the Norte region of Brazil. You will coordinate regular AR review sessions with internal stakeholders, follow up on overdue balances, and ensure accurate billing by validating documents in the ERP system.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, at least two years in AR/credit control, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable/credit control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP exposure is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Organise and run regular credit / accounts receivable review sessions with internal stakeholders to resolve overdue items and close delinquent accounts.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and maintain professional communications to support timely payment.
• Review and process new customer account applications and required documentation.
• Maintain and update customer master data and approved credit limits in the ERP system.
• Monitor daily transactions for credit holds and coordinate with relevant teams to address overdue issues.
• Issue and circulate invoices, statements of account, reminders, and confirmation letters to customers.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and support balance confirmations.
• Prepare regular collections and accounts receivable status reports for management reporting.
• Coordinate with insurers on trade credit insurance applications for accounts with credit terms.
• Liaise with banks and trade-related instruments (e.g., letters of credit) where applicable.
• Validate supporting documents to ensure accurate billing to customers.
• Support other ad-hoc duties assigned by the finance lead.
