Job Purpose

Examine and verify that the bank movements are registered in the accounting for the effective generation of bank reconciliations, and manage and solve the missing movements of its record. Likewise, control the application and generation of advances to suppliers to avoid duplication in accounting records.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile bank transactions not yet recorded in the accounting system, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Prepare and submit bank reconciliations for each entity, following up on outstanding items to obtain necessary supporting documentation.
• Manage, authorize, and control all documentation related to supplier advances to prevent duplication and ensure proper validation within the accounting system.
• Verify completeness and compliance of supplier payment documentation against administrative requirements prior to processing payment requests.
• Accurately prepare and record all accounting entries related to the company’s operations to support monthly closing requirements.
• Generate and present charts, reports, lists, and other financial documents as required by the Controller’s Department.
• Assist in the review and analysis of accounting reports to identify and recommend account purges or adjustments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, ensuring all tasks align with the objectives of the accounting department.
