Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Brazil, Região Norte, is seeking an experienced senior accountant to lead the accounting function in a manufacturing setting.

You will drive accurate records and timely month-end close, and supervise the accounting team. You will oversee daily finance operations, manage the full set of accounts, analyze results, and prepare management reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential, with prior manufacturing experience highly

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / MS Business Central.
• Experience in Assistant Manager / Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant or team lead.
• Hands-on experience in full set of accounts.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records accurately and updated on a timely basis to support monthly closing deadlines.
• Oversee daily finance operations and supervise the accounting team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Handle full set of accounts and finance-related functions.
• Review and analyse financial results, and prepare reports for management review.
• Review journal entries, accounts receivable ageing, accounts payable ageing and inventory/stock ageing reports.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash flow position.
• Support external audit process, including preparation and review of audit schedules, and liaise with auditors on audit matters.
• Review existing accounting processes and systems, and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal control guidelines, accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Director /CFO
