DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a challenging career in business development? Do you have prior experience and a proven track record in delivering against targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Amazon is seeking Global Selling Account Managers to join its team based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.


Your role will focus on contributing to new business acquisition (50%) through hunting, specifically phone/email-based prospecting of new merchants who can bring their competitive range of products, pricing, and availability to Amazon. You will also work with merchants as an account manager (50%) — helping them launch and grow their business on Amazon by ensuring they understand Amazon's products, services, systems, and tools. Additionally, you will use feedback from merchants to identify opportunities to improve Amazon's products, services, processes, systems, and tools.

Key job responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential merchants via phone or email.
  2. Effectively prioritize and manage a pipeline of merchants to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
  3. Be a business partner for new merchants, providing data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on Amazon.
  4. Work closely with new merchants, educating them about Amazon's standards of Delivery and Customer Experience.
  5. Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems to manage their catalog, inventory, and performance efficiently and independently.
  6. Learn category specifics to spot trends, seasonal items, and competitive pricing to tailor your pitch and advice.
  7. Track and report business development results, analyze reports, and interpret data for your merchant portfolio.
  8. Prioritize your time effectively to achieve targets in a KPI-driven environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing experience (e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses.
  • Experience influencing at all organizational levels, especially at the executive level.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets through a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
