Bahrain Surf Park is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Head of Surf Operations across administration, stock monitoring, coordination, and daily operations. You will help ensure smooth surf-related activities by coordinating teams and maintaining safety and service quality.

The role collaborates with surf instructors, lifeguards and other teams to ensure high guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a dynamic, ocean-side venue in Bahrain.

OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

The Assistant OperationsManager supports the Head of Surf Operations and team across a range offunctions, including administration, stock monitoring, coordination, andday-to-day operations.

This position helps ensure thesmooth running of surf-related activities by assisting with teamorganization, communication between departments, and operational logistics.

The role involves closecollaboration with surf instructors, lifeguards, and other operational teamsto maintain high standards of safety, service quality, and guestsatisfaction.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• SupporttheHead of Operationsin the preparation and coordination ofdailymissions
• Assistwithteam recruitment, training, scheduling, and day-to-day Surf Academy teammanagement
• Overseethe surf equipment inventory, including surfboards, wetsuits, andaccessories;monitorstock levels, repairs, and deliveries
• Assistwithprocurementandlogisticsfor surf gear, uniforms, and neoprene equipment,ensuring materials are always in good condition
• Superviseand support thesurfteam in the proper use, maintenance, andorganization of surf equipment.
• Facilitatecommunication betweenInstructors, Lifeguards, and otherdepartments to ensure smooth coordination
• MonitorsurfsessionsandSurf Academy, ensuring that operational procedures are followed
• Provideadministrative support, including tracking bookings, team schedules,budgets, and performance metrics
• Assistwithguest service and operational issue resolution ina timelyandeffective manner
• Helporganize and support special surf-related activities such as surf camps,demo days, events, and educational programs
• Provideexcellent guest service and respond to guest issues inatimelyand professional manner
• Training orexperience in business administration, operations management, or hospitalityis an asset
• Experienceinsurfoperationsis a plus
• Experience ina surf school, resort or leisure facility is a strong asset
• Knowledge ofsurfingandsurfequipmentis appreciated
