Bahrain Surf Park is recruiting a Demi Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, managing a specific kitchen section with high standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency.

You will supervise Commis Chefs and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth service and consistent dish execution while upholding safety and HACCP guidelines.

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel/resort.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and Arabic-speaking required.

OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefin managing a specific section of the kitchen. You are responsible forassisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes whilemaintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, hygiene, andefficiency.

You play a key role in supervising Commis Chefs, ensuring smoothservice within your section, and continuously developing your culinary skillsin a fast-paced professional kitchen environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• . Manage and oversee your assigned kitchen section
• . Prepare and present food according to establishedrecipes and standards
• . Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, andpresentation
• . Assist with daily mise en place and productionplanning
• . Support kitchen operations in the absence ofsenior chefs

Team Supervision

• . Supervise and guide Commis Chefs within yoursection
• . Ensure smooth workflow during service periods
• . Train and support junior team members on stationduties
• . Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and kitchenstandards
• . Communicate effectively with Sous Chef and HeadChef

Food Safety & Hygiene

• . Maintain high standards of food safety and hygieneat all times
• . Ensure correct food handling, storage, andlabelling procedures
• . Keep your section clean, organised, and compliantwith HACCP standards
• . Monitor food temperatures and quality controlpoints
• . Report any safety or equipment issues immediately

Inventory & Cost Control

• . Control portioning and reduce waste within yoursection
• . Ensure proper use of ingredients and kitchenresources
• . Assist in stock rotation and storage procedures
• . Support inventory counts and stock controlprocesses
• . Report shortages, wastage, or quality concerns

Menu Execution & Development Support

• . Execute menu items according to standard recipesand specifications
• . Assist in testing and development of new dishes
• . Maintain consistency across all dishes served inyour section
• . Provide feedback on recipes, quality, andoperational improvements
• . Ensure recipe standardisation is followed at alltimes

Experience

• Proven experience asa Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel, resort, finedining, or high-volume restaurant. Experience managing teams in a fast-pacedenvironment
