Job summary

INT Solution is seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager / Supervisor to oversee daily purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions in Bahrain. The role requires coordinating with internal departments, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The candidate will drive spend analysis, monitor supplier performance, and lead continuous improvements across procurement processes, supporting overall business objectives

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, procurement, business, logistics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of purchasing procedures, supplier evaluation, quotation analysis, and PO management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to assess supplier proposals, compare costs, and make commercially sound purchasing decisions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple purchasing requirements and deadlines.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, inventory coordination, and contract administration.
• Confidentiality, ethical sourcing, and compliance with internal policies.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders across departments.
• Leadership, coordination, and team-support skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on operational efficiency, supplier reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily procurement activities in line with operational requirements and priorities.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Request and compare quotations, assess proposals, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
• Review purchase requests to ensure accuracy, budget alignment, and internal approval compliance.
• Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery per specs.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, delivery reliability, and service standards.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and documentation.
• Analyze purchasing trends and expenditure data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, warehouse, logistics, and other departments for smooth purchasing processes.
• Resolve supplier-related issues including delays, discrepancies, quality concerns, and invoice differences.
• Support inventory planning and replenishment to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Ensure procurement practices follow policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and monitor KPIs; provide updates on activity and supplier performance.
• Guide procurement team members, distribute workloads, and monitor task completion where supervisory responsibilities apply.
• Recommend improvements to procedures, supplier selection, contract management, and purchasing controls.
