Job summary

NASS Group & Corporation in Bahrain seeks a Head of Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and the end-to-end procurement cycle. You will drive supplier relationships, manage risk, and ensure compliant, cost-effective sourcing for major projects.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and extensive procurement leadership experience, with strong commercial acumen, communication, and ERP/ procurement software proficiency to optimize performance across the organisation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
CIPS certification desirable.
8–10 years procurement experience, including at least 5 years in leadership.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management.
Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.
Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
