Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support the Bahrain generator factory. You will turn purchase requests into POs, manage supplier confirmations, and track orders from placement to delivery, working with Logistics and Finance to close POs in the ERP system.

You will also help develop local suppliers, review quotes, and ensure compliance with procurement policies, supplier codes of conduct, and NDA requirements while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on purchasing experience in an ERP system.
• Strong Excel and numerical skills.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, RFQ and quotation comparison, and basic negotiation.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken and written, to work with local/international suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Receive purchase requests from Production, Service, Engineering and other departments and ensure they are complete and approved.
• Create purchase orders in the ERP system and route for approval per authority schedules.
• Send approved POs to suppliers and obtain confirmation of price, quantity, delivery date and terms.
• Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders until delivery and coordinate inbound shipments with Logistics.
• Resolve delivery issues with suppliers and the receiving team.
• Follow up with Finance on supplier invoices and payments and close completed POs in the ERP.
