Zain Group in Bahrain is seeking a Procurement & Contract Management Specialist to drive sourcing and the full lifecycle of supplier contracts, aligning procurement with logistics and contracting for compliant, cost‑effective solutions.

Minimum 3–5 years in telecom purchasing, a Bachelor’s in Business/Logistics, strong negotiation, vendor management and contract skills are required to optimize value and ensure timely delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Telecommunications or a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in Telecom.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and contract skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead efforts to procure all goods and services for the company.
• Maintain understanding of marketplace trends and pricing, market forces, cost trends, and supplier tech roadmaps.
• Ensure standardization in all procurement activities per Sourcing and Procurement Policies.
• Responsible for turnkey procurement cycle from supplier offers comparison, negotiation, to placing purchase orders.
• Coordinate with requestor departments to ensure documentation per Procurement Sourcing Policies and Process.
• Ensure Purchase Orders are processed in accordance with KPIs.
• Ensure requestor departments are informed of progress and delivery times.
• Maintain records of all procurement cycle documentation.
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate contract terms and conditions to minimize risk and maximize value.
• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement cycle and supplier contracts repository.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier database and conduct periodic performance reviews for contract compliance.
• Monitor contract performance, renewals, and expiry dates for timely action.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation of procurement activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
