The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa, Manama is seeking a Spa & Recreation Receptionist to join a team dedicated to premier guest service. You will welcome guests, manage front desk duties, and support the Spa & Recreation department with a friendly, efficient approach.

Responsibilities include handling guest inquiries, coordinating with departments, and maintaining high standards of service, while upholding hotel policies and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office is beneficial but not essential.
• Arabic language ability is preferred.
• Hands-on, can-do work style.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with IT systems on multiple platforms.
• Strong guest service orientation and ownership of duties.

Responsibilities

• Supports the smooth running of the Spa & Recreation department and guest journey at the reception.
• Responds to guest inquiries and resolves issues promptly.
• Takes responsibility for duties and tasks, ensuring timely and professional completion.
• Delivers on departmental plans and hotel initiatives.
• Maintains cost control, inventory, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities of the Spa & Recreation Receptionist

• Supports the smooth running of the Spa & Recreation department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level.
• Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution.
• Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved.
• Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Requirements of the Spa & Recreation Receptionist

• Local Hire is preferred
• Experience in front office beneficial but not essential.
• Arabic speaker is preferred.
• Hands‑on approach with a can‑do work style.
• one year experience at the same role is preferred.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
