Job summary

Apex Group in Bahrain is seeking a Vice President for Private Equity Fund Administration. The role focuses on NAV calculations, regulatory reporting, and audit preparation for private equity funds, coordinating onboarding and due diligence while managing client relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee regulatory reporting, due diligence, and coordination with auditors, with opportunities to lead and train teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Holds a Professional accounting qualification with a strong academic background.
• At least 10+ years’ relevant experience in private equity Fund administration role.
• Knowledge of IFRS/UK/LUX/US GAAP.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Self-starter willing to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NAV calculations are reviewed and delivered on time.
• Onboard new funds and oversee client reporting requirements.
• Attend meetings on NAV calculations and financial statements.
• Process fund capital calls and distributions.
• Maintain SSAE 18 and ISAE 3402 controls.
• Respond to client enquiries in line with service standards.
• Ensure regulatory reporting compliance and audit readiness.
• Review payments, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
• Interact with auditors and manage audit queries.
• Oversee FATCA/CRS returns and filing processes.
• Senior point of contact with clients; manage expectations and feedback.
• Lead process improvements and cross-team collaboration.
• Train and mentor staff and provide performance feedback.
• Conduct investor AML risk assessments and due diligence checks.
