Job summary

The Apex Group in Bahrain seeks a senior fund administrator to join the Real Estate Fund Administration team. You will maintain client relationships and coordinate NAV calculations, regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and onboarding for real estate funds.

This role requires extensive fund administration experience, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and leadership to guide staff while improving processes and controls. You will liaise with auditors and ensure compliance across deliverables.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification with strong academic background.
• 10+ years of real estate fund administration experience.
• Familiar with IFRS, UK, Lux, US GAAP.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle complex issues.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Excel Macros.
• Experience in managing people is a plus.
• Knowledge of eFront is advantageous.
• Able to present financial data with analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NAV calculations are reviewed and delivered on time.
• Onboard new funds and coordinate onboarding.
• Attend meetings discussing NAV, financial statements and deliverables.
• Calculate and process capital calls and distributions.
• Maintain SSAE 18 and ISAE 3402 controls.
• Respond to client enquiries per service standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and fund specifications.
• Review payments and regulatory reports.
• Interact with auditors and respond to audit queries.
• Monitor administration fees and debtors.
• Drive process improvements and cross-team collaboration.
• Lead and train staff, provide performance feedback.
• Perform investor AML risk assessments and due diligence.
• Review FATCA/CRS returns and filing process.
• Act as senior client contact.
• Align with Apex Code of Conduct and Client Charter.
