Job summary

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain seeks an Assistant Reservation & Communication Manager to lead internal and external reservation services, ensuring top performance against KPIs and revenue targets.

You will collaborate with hotel reservation teams, monitor capacity, address guest feedback, and train new staff, while overseeing people management and monthly KPI reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience as Assistant Reservations Manager or similar role in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel management from an accredited university.
• Excellent knowledge of PMS Systems.
• Qualification in Revenue Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of internal and external service, quality, and commercial performances as per Central Reservations KPI objectives.
• Work closely with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Attend meetings related to reservations and share relevant insights on performance and trends.
• Monitor automated reservation services to ensure optimal capacity and resolve any service degradation.
• Monitor and follow up on guest complaints, ensuring relevant solutions are provided by coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure training of new colleagues in the department and hotels is planned and scheduled in advance.
• Oversee all aspects of people management, including development, target setting, reviews, and performance.
• Complete monthly KPI reporting to the Director of Reservations and Director of Revenue for the hotel.
