Job summary

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking an Assistant Reservation & Communication Manager - Reservation to oversee internal and external service delivery, maximize revenue opportunities, and guide reservations teams across the MEASA region. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in hospitality reservations, a degree in hotel management, and strong knowledge of PMS systems.

A background in revenue management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as Assistant Reservations Manager or similar in hospitality.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel management from an accredited and renowned University.
• Excellent knowledge of PMS Systems.
• Qualification in Revenue Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of internal and external service, quality, and commercial performances as per Central Reservations KPI objectives.
• Work closely with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Attend meetings related to reservations and share relevant insights on performance and trends.
• Monitor automated reservation services to ensure optimal capacity and resolve any service degradation.
• Monitor and follow up on guest complaints, ensuring relevant solutions are provided by coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure training of new colleagues in the department and hotels is planned and scheduled in advance.
• Oversee all aspects of people management, including development, target setting, reviews, and performance.
• Complete monthly KPI reporting to the Director of Reservations and Director of Revenue for the hotel.
