Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced professional to lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for District Cooling, Building Management, and utilities automation projects in the Middle East. You will analyze RFQs, develop cost estimates, and coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in proposal engineering within building services or automation, strong E&I estimation skills, and the ability to read P&IDs and control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related field.
• 10-15 years experience in Sales Support, Estimation, Proposal Engineering, or System Solutions.
• Experience with District Cooling Plant, Building Management Systems, Infrastructure, Smart City, Water Utilities, Irrigation, or Metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical & instrumentation estimation, field instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, control philosophies, BOQs, single-line diagrams, instrument lists.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, specs, drawings, BOQs and tender docs to prepare technical & commercial proposals.
• Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies for DCP, BMS, Infrastructure and Utilities Automation projects.
• Review project requirements and develop fit-for-purpose solutions across automation, control, monitoring, and E&I scope.
• Prepare Bill of Materials, technical compliance docs, and proposals.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams for cost-optimized alignment.
• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations, perform bid comparisons and negotiations.
• Assist in defining Sales Stage architecture, networking requirements, and project strategy.
• Participate in technical clarifications, bid reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering.
• Ensure timely, high-quality submissions while staying competitive and profitable.
• Stay updated with UAE/KSA/GCC infra standards and market trends.

Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering
