Job summary

Pramac, a Generac Company, invites a General Manager to lead its Gulf Region, focusing on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. You will report to the Regional General Manager for APAC & Middle East and drive business development, sales operations, and manufacturing performance with a strong emphasis on profitability.

You will build and lead the local sales organization, align production capacity with market demand, and ensure operational excellence, quality, and sustainable growth across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales management and operational leadership in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of the power generation industry, including diesel and gas generator sets.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and complex business operations.

The General Manager is the senior executive responsible for leading Pramac’s joint venture with A. Juffali & Brothers in the Gulf Region. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager for APAC & Middle East, the General Manager will have full accountability for driving business development, managing sales operations, and overseeing the industrial and financial performance of the local manufacturing operations. The role is focused on expanding the business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain while ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with a strong focus on market growth and customer acquisition
• Build, lead, and develop the local sales organization and channel partner network
• Position the “Made in Saudi” product portfolio and integrate imported solutions into a unified commercial offering
• Lead the setup and operational management of the Bahrain manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards
• Manage full Profit & Loss responsibility across sales and production operations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to align production capacity with market demand
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all areas of the business

Minimal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales management, and operational leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of the power generation industry, including diesel and gas generator sets
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and complex business operations
