Job summary

Pramac, a Generac Company, seeks an experienced Production Director to lead manufacturing operations at our Bahrain facility. You will oversee Production, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will develop manufacturing strategies, lead Lean initiatives, and mentor managers across functions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional market demands. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

• 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven experience in OEM manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English required.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Director to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at our Bahrain facility.

Position Overview

The Production Director will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities within the plant, ensuring operational excellence across Production, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality functions. The role requires a strong leader with proven experience in complex OEM manufacturing environments, capable of driving efficiency, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the achievement of business objectives, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are achieved.
• Oversee Production, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Quality departments.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Ensure efficient production planning and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
• Optimize inventory levels, material flow, and supply chain performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as required.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, develop, and mentor department managers and operational teams.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Corporate functions.
• Support industrialisation projects, process improvements, and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven experience in OEM manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in Production Management, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality.
• Experience managing medium-to-large manufacturing facilities.
• Demonstrated success in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on operational approach.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the power generation, industrial equipment, machinery, metal fabrication, or electromechanical manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing methodologies.
• International and multicultural management experience.
