Job summary

PRAMAC in Bahrain seeks a General Manager to lead the joint venture with A. Juffali & Brothers in the Gulf region.

You will report to the Regional General Manager for APAC & Middle East and drive business development, sales operations, and the industrial and financial performance of the local manufacturing site. The role focuses on expanding the business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain while delivering operational excellence, sustainable growth, and strong stakeholder collaboration across R&D,

Job description

The General Manager is the senior executive responsible for leading Pramac’s joint venture with A. Juffali & Brothers in the Gulf Region. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager for APAC & Middle East, the General Manager will have full accountability for driving business development, managing sales operations, and overseeing the industrial and financial performance of the local manufacturing operations. The role is focused on expanding the business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain while ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with a strong focus on market growth and customer acquisition
• Build, lead, and develop the local sales organization and channel partner network
• Position the "Made in Saudi" product portfolio and integrate imported solutions into a unified commercial offering
• Lead the setup and operational management of the Bahrain manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards
• Manage full Profit & Loss responsibility across sales and production operations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to align production capacity with market demand
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all areas of the business

Minimal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales management, and operational leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of the power generation industry, including diesel and gas generator sets
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and complex business operations
