Job summary

Client of Domo Ventures W.L.L. in Bahrain is seeking an Event Manager Planner (Female) to oversee the planning, coordination and execution of events with a strong focus on food and beverage services from initial concept to post-event evaluation.

The role involves meeting with clients, budgeting, sourcing venues, managing staff and vendors, ensuring health and safety standards, and delivering high-quality service for events of varied size.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Proven experience in food and beverage management, particularly in events management.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including menu planning, preparation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to understand their event requirements, budget, and preferences.
• Plan, organize and coordinate all food and beverage requirements for events, including menu selections, set-up, and service arrangements.
• Manage and train the events team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Selecting suitable venues, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the venue meets the event's requirements.
• Sourcing and negotiating with vendors such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of food and beverage services.
• Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food and beverage service and manage any incidents or customer complaints effectively.
• Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and resource allocation.
• Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the events planning and execution process.
• Developing detailed event timelines and ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
• Gathering feedback, analyzing event success and identifying areas for improvement.
• Proven track record of successful event planning in Bahrain.
