Job summary

Bin Hindi Motors (KIA) in Bahrain seeks a Sales Engineer to coordinate vehicle delivery, registration and insurance, ensuring accurate documentation and a smooth handover to customers. You will work with Sales, Accounts, PDI, Workshop and external partners to resolve issues and meet deadlines.

A Diploma/Bachelor in business, marketing or automotive is preferred, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in vehicle delivery or automotive support.

The role is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are ready for delivery, all required documentation is complete and accurate, customer requirements are addressed, customer satisfaction and all activities are carried out in compliance with company procedures and applicable requirements.

Sales Engineer Required Skills: Good knowledge of light vehicles, vehicle features, specifications, accessories, and basic operating functions. Good knowledge of vehicle registration and insurance procedures in Bahrain. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, with good command of spoken and written English. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and external parties. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications & relevant online registration/insurance portals. Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures and controls. Courteous, honest, professional, and customer oriented. Confident, self-motivated & able to work independently and effectively within a team. Strong rapport-building skills to foster long-term client relationships. Holder of a valid driving license, supporting field sales activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Delivery Coordination Coordinate and ensure the timely and smooth delivery of vehicles to customers. Ensure vehicles are properly prepared, inspected, cleaned, and ready for handover. Verify vehicle details, accessories, documentation, and delivery requirements prior to handover.
• Customer Handover & Service Conduct professional vehicle handovers & explain vehicle features, warranty information & relevant documentation. Ensure customers receive all required manuals, warranty documents, and accessories. Follow up on customer requests and post-delivery requirements. Address customer concerns promptly and elevate unresolved matters to the Sales Manager when required.
• Vehicle Registration & Insurance Coordinate and process vehicle registration and insurance requirements. Prepare and verify traffic forms and related documentation. Complete online registration of new and used vehicles through the applicable portals. Coordinate with insurance companies, Traffic Directorate, banks, financing companies & other relevant parties.
• Documentation & Compliance Ensure all delivery, registration, insurance & customer documentation is complete, accurate & properly authorized. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle deliveries and related documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, internal controls & applicable regulatory requirements.
• Internal & External Coordination Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, PDI, Workshop, Delivery, Registration, and other relevant departments. Maintain effective communication with customers and external service providers. Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve delivery, documentation, registration, insurance & vehicle-related issues.
• Planning, Reporting & Follow-Up Organize daily activities and prioritize delivery-related requirements. Monitor pending registrations, insurance, approvals, and customer requirements. Follow up on outstanding delivery and post-delivery matters until completion. Prepare delivery, registration, insurance, and other reports as requested by management. Report delays, incidents, discrepancies, or difficulties to the Sales Manager and/or Division Head.
• Customer Relationship Support Support Sales Personnel and management in maintaining positive and long-term customer relationships. Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring an efficient and professional delivery experience.
• Other Responsibilities Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information. Participate in relevant training and development programs. Shall be knowledgeable of A.A. Bin Hindi Internal procedures and policies. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager, Division Head & Job holder.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification Diploma/bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Automotive or related field (preferred). Experience 2 3 years of relevant experience in vehicle delivery, automotive sales support, customer service, or a similar role. Previous experience in an automotive dealership environment is preferred.
