Job summary

Nass is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to plan, source, and procure materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. You will manage supplier relationships, obtain quotations, issue POs, monitor deliveries, and maintain accurate purchasing records to support project timelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Admin, Procurement, or related field.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contracts.
• Familiarity with construction materials and vendor markets.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational/time-management.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders per budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet procurement needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve procurement-related issues including delays and discrepancies.
• Maintain records of purchases, supplier information, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Support cost-control initiatives with cost-saving opportunities.
• Track procurement progress, expenditures, and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Procurement Manager.
