Job summary

ERA Projects in Bahrain seeks a skilled Construction Procurement Coordinator to support construction projects by coordinating purchasing activities, suppliers, material requirements, and deliveries.

You will manage POs, RFQs, quotations, and delivery follow-ups, collaborating with site engineers, project managers, storekeepers, and accounts to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily procurement and purchasing requirements for construction projects.

• Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and process POs, RFQs, and quotation sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, availability, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and terms.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, storekeepers, accounts, and suppliers.
• Verify deliveries against POs and delivery notes.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
• Monitor outstanding orders and material requirements.

We are looking for an organized and experienced Construction Procurement Coordinator to support construction projects by coordinating purchasing activities, suppliers, material requirements, and deliveries. The role requires understanding of construction materials, procurement procedures, supplier coordination, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily procurement and purchasing requirements for construction projects.
• Source construction materials, tools, equipment, MEP materials, and site consumables.
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), RFQs, purchase requests, and quotation comparison sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and suitable commercial terms.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, storekeepers, accounts, and suppliers.
• Verify delivered materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and approved requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, purchase registers, and delivery trackers.
• Monitor outstanding orders and material requirements.
