Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior commercial leader with extensive experience in the construction or infrastructure sector to shape commercial strategy, contracts, claims, and final accounts across the GCC.

Based primarily in Bahrain with regular involvement across Saudi Arabia and wider GCC operations, the role requires MRICS or MSc Construction Law, bilingual English and Arabic, and proven leadership to build and transform commercial teams and systems.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Law.
• 10+ years in construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in senior commercial leadership within the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims management, contract administration, and final account negotiation.
• Experience managing large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially strategic with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy and governance for GCC projects.
• Oversee contract administration and final account negotiations.
• Manage claims and commercial risk across large-scale projects.
• Lead cross-border teams and stakeholder management across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and GCC.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims management, contract administration, commercial strategy, and final account negotiation.
• Experience managing large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially strategic with strong business acumen and operational awareness.

Location

• Primarily based in Bahrain with regular involvement across Saudi Arabia and wider GCC operations.

Skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience operating across Bahrain and/or Saudi Arabia.
• Experience building or transforming commercial teams and systems.
• Familiarity with large-scale industrial, infrastructure, utilities, or complex constructionprojects.
• MRICS, MSc Construction Law, or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic, with strong written and spoken fluency in both languages.
