Job summary

A Construction Group in Manama, Bahrain, seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects from tender to completion, coordinating between clients, contractors and consultants. The Contracts Manager will support Project Managers and attend progress review meetings ensuring contractual rights are reserved.

The role requires at least 5 years with main contractors and knowledge of FIDIC, MoW, lump sum and unit price.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with main contractors, 5+ years.
• Knowledge of contracts used across Bahrain and GCC (FIDIC, MoW, lump sum, unit price).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to counter client/consultant arguments orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual aspects from tender to completion.
• Liaise between clients, contractors and consultants to resolve issues and maintain agreements.
• Support Project Managers/Teams and attend progress review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Ensure contractual rights are reserved and manage change/variation orders.
• Advise on writing contractual letters and identify contractual risks.
