SOFITEL in Manama is seeking a passionate Restaurant Supervisor who speaks Arabic to oversee daily operations at our Greek / Mediterranean restaurant. You will lead and motivate the team, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences for Arabic-speaking guests.

Ideal candidates will have luxury-hotel background, fluent Arabic and English, strong leadership, and a passion for hospitality. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Excellent guest-service and communication skills.
• Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operation and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, motivate, and support the team during each shift.
• Ensure exceptional and personalised guest experiences.
• Welcome and engage with guests, particularly Arabic-speaking guests.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally.
• Ensure all service, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities to the team.
• Support training and coaching of team members.
• Assist with staff scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational requirements.
• Monitor restaurant supplies and assist with stock control.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Uphold policies and brand standards.
