Ubique Systems in Brussels is seeking an experienced Workplace Support Technician to join the GEMS-IS Helpdesk & Workplace Solutions team. The role focuses on 1st & 2nd line IT support, workplace technologies, end-user support, mobile devices and workplace projects within a large enterprise environment.

You will provide 1st/2nd line support, handle incidents, manage assets, and contribute to transformation projects, working on Windows, Mac, Office 365, and mobile architectures while meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Workplace / EUC / Helpdesk support experience.
• Experience supporting 1,000+ users in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure and taking ownership of issues.
• Service-oriented with an interest in modern workplace technologies.
• Experience in a Trading environment is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1st & 2nd line support via phone, email and in person.
• Handle, coordinate and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Provide end-user support for laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software incidents.
• Configure, install and maintain Windows and Mac workstations.
• Manage Workstation/IT assets.
• Provide VIP IT and proximity support.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain support documentation.
• Contribute to Workplace transformation, innovation and improvement projects.
• Support workplace and mobile architecture initiatives at a conceptual level.
• Work within IT service management processes and agreed SLAs.
