Job summary

Datasar Automation realises custom automation projects at manufacturing and distribution companies. As a family-run SME, you become the pivot on the site between client, workshop and partners, coordinating assembly, installation and start-up (Belgium and abroad).

You will monitor schedules, distribute tasks and ensure quality and safety while guiding (sub)contractors and in-house technicians. A strong focus on safety, clear communication and structured leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical base in electromechanics/automation and experience in project or site management.
• Ability to lead and manage people with respect and clarity.
• Structured work style with focus on safety and quality.
• Fluency in Dutch; English is important. French/German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site assembly, installation and start-up (Belgium and abroad).
• Monitor schedules, assign tasks and track quality and safety.
• Direct and support contractors and in-house technicians.
• Prioritize technical issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Communicate project progress, risks and completion points with client.

• On-site coordination of assembly, installation and start-up (Belgium and abroad).
• Monitor schedules, distribute tasks and monitor quality/safety.
• Direct and support (sub)contractors and in-house technicians.
• Prioritize technical issues and elevate to engineering as needed.
• Communication with client: progress, risks, completion points.

Your profile

• Strong technical base (electromechanics/automation) and experience in project or site management.
• You manage people with respect and clarity.
• You keep an overview, work in a structured way and steer for safety.
• Languages: Dutch; English is important. French/German is a plus.
• Driver’s License B.

Travel frequency

• Approximately 60% of your time will be on location (domestic and international), depending on the project phase.
