Job summary

Datasar is seeking a committed service/maintenance technician to serve client sites across Belgium. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform upgrades in collaboration with engineering, and keep detailed service reports.

Expect travel about half of the time and daytime hours with flexibility for urgent interventions. We offer a permanent contract in a family-run SME with competitive salary, a company car or mobility solution, fuel/charge card, eco-checks, cell phone allowance, travel

Qualifications

• Experience as a service or maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem solver with a practical approach.
• Basic PLC/HMI knowledge is a plus.
• Customer-friendly, communicative and reliable.
• Driver’s Licence B.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service machines at customer sites.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, sensors, drives).
• Perform upgrades and optimizations in consultation with engineering.
• Create service reports and follow up on parts/actions.
• Travel to customer sites approximately 50% of the time.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on machines/plant at customers’ premises.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, sensors, drives).

Your profile

• Experience as a service or maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem solver with a practical approach.
• Basic PLC/HMI knowledge is a plus (diagnostics, I/O check, simple modifications).
• Customer-friendly, communicative and reliable.
• Driver’s License B.

Travel frequency

• About 50% of your time will be on-site with clients.
