To grow our team in Eynatten (Belgium) we are looking for

Automation architect (m/f/d)

Permanent contract in full or part time

YOUR TASKS

• Coordination of automation projects between the internal team and external partners (freelancers, subcontractors), on equal technical footing with both sides
• Building and continuously improving a modular function block library for SCADA and PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC)
• Developing and implementing programming guidelines and standards in the automation domain
• Structuring and assigning work packages to internal and external developers, including technical acceptance
• Ongoing analysis and improvement of existing solutions with a focus on standardisation and efficiency
• Contributing to on-site commissioning
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation (architecture descriptions, programming guidelines, handover documents)

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of experience in automation engineering, with deep understanding of SCADA and/or PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC), with a preference for solid knowledge in both
• Experience coordinating between internal and external programmers
• You think in a structured and systemic way. You recognise cross-project patterns and turn them into modular solutions
• You challenge existing solutions and actively drive their improvement
• You work collaboratively and as a partner, with internal colleagues as well as external partners
• Experience in regulated environments (MedTech, Pharma or comparable) is an advantage
• Excellent English skills; German and/or French an advantage
