We’re looking for an experienced Test Coordinator to join our client’s testing organization and take ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle across complex IT projects. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary environment where multiple teams collaborate on solutions supporting operational planning, resource management and business-critical processes. From early testability assessments to final release readiness, you’ll ensure that testing is well structured, properly resourced and delivered with a strong focus on quality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete testing lifecycle, from test strategy and planning through execution, defect management and test completion.
- Translate project requirements and risks into pragmatic and actionable test approaches.
- Coordinate both functional and non-functional testing activities, including test automation.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of test resources, environments, test data and tooling.
- Coordinate distributed and multidisciplinary testing teams, including staffing, recruitment, resource planning and capacity management.
- Monitor test execution, manage defects and provide clear, concise reporting to project stakeholders.
- Establish and validate test strategies in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Contribute to release and change management activities and ensure appropriate quality assurance and quality control.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT and project teams to ensure successful delivery and release readiness.
Experience & Technical Profile
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in software testing, including at least 10 years in a Test Coordinator, Test Lead or Test Manager role.
- Valid ISTQB certification at Foundation Level or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in public transport or another complex operational planning environment, with a strong understanding of planning processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Playwright and ReadyAPI, gained through direct project involvement.
- Strong experience with Jira, Xray, Confluence, Azure DevOps and SQL.
- Experience coordinating testing activities within BSS and OSS environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience contributing to quality assurance and quality control for security‑related systems.
- Experience participating in release or change management bodies.
- Strong experience setting up testing organizations and strategies in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher, combined with Dutch or French at CEFR C1 level or higher.
