Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Technology Security Architect to guide secure technology architectures and integrate security controls across the SDLC. The role collaborates with platform teams on cloud-native solutions and demands strong expertise in IAM, API security, Azure AKS, and DevSecOps.

The candidate will translate security policies into concrete solutions, manage risks, and work with external development teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an ICT Security architect.
• 5+ years managing and implementing IAM.
• 3+ years securing Azure containers and Kubernetes (AKS).
• 3+ years implementing and monitoring secure software development through DevSecOps.
• 3+ years translating ISMS and security policies into technical solutions.
• Experience working with external development teams.
• Strong risk management experience and implementation of security standards.

Responsabilités

• Define and monitor security architecture principles, guardrails, and secure-by-design standards.

Our client, a key organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Technology Security Architect to guide the design and implementation of secure technology architectures. This role involves integrating security controls across the full software development lifecycle and collaborating with platform teams on cloud-native solutions.

• Define and monitor security architecture principles, guardrails, and secure-by-design standards.
• Integrate security controls within the full SDLC, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Advise on and review technical designs, conducting threat modeling and security architecture reviews.
• Provide expertise on identity and access management, API security, and Azure cloud-native architectures.
• Define and automate security controls within CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.
• Support development and platform teams in identifying and mitigating technical security risks.
• Analyze security incidents and technical vulnerabilities to advise on structural improvement measures.

• You have 5+ years of experience as an architect within ICT Security solutions.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing IAM according to organizational policies.
• You possess 3+ years of experience securing Azure containers and Kubernetes (AKS) clusters.
• You have 3+ years of experience implementing and monitoring secure software development through DevSecOps.
• You bring 3+ years of experience translating ISMS and security policies into concrete technical solutions.
• You have experience working with external development teams.
• You're experienced in risk management and the implementation of security standards and procedures.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1 level) with at least a B2 level in the other language (French or Dutch).

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge and experience with ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with platform engineering and building shared technical platforms for development teams.
• Previous experience within the energy sector.
