Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a senior security architect in Brussels to design and implement robust security architectures for critical infrastructure within the energy sector. The role requires 6–10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and fluency in Dutch, French and English.

Qualifications

What you will do

You will work as a senior security architect for a Belgian energy sector organisation, responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures that protect critical infrastructure and information systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing security architectures for enterprise systems and applications
• Advising stakeholders on security best practices and standards
• Ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations
• Conducting security assessments and risk analyses
• Developing security policies, procedures and guidelines
• Collaborating with IT teams to integrate security into system designs
• Staying current with emerging security threats and technologies

The setting

This assignment starts on 1 December 2026 and is based in Brussels. The working arrangement is hybrid, with a combination of on-site and remote work. You will be part of the security team within a critical infrastructure organisation in the energy sector.
