Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Brugge is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and manage scalable Azure-based infrastructure in a modern cloud ecosystem.

You will build IaC with Terraform, enforce governance and security, and work with delivery teams to translate architecture into practical solutions. Fluent English is required; hybrid work 2–3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in the Azure ecosystem.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC deployments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proactive, testing-focused mindset with troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and monitor Azure cloud blueprints, including governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Advise on and implement best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization.
• Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistent deployments.
• Integrate new Azure services and technologies in alignment with the cloud strategy.
• Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to translate architectural decisions into practical, actionable solutions.

• You bring 5+ years of professional experience in the Azure ecosystem.

• You have a deep understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• You're a proactive professional with a strong affinity for software development to support delivery teams.
