Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Technical Leader to drive the development and integration of business-critical software within a Microsoft-focused landscape. You will lead IT implementations from concept through deployment, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical leadership in .NET/SQL Server, strong Azure knowledge, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native patterns, plus fluent English and French or Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution delivery, or application management within a .NET and SQL Server environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native solution patterns.
• Experience with fit-gap analyses, requirements definition, and software selection processes.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, security standards, and IT service management processes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in English with professional knowledge of French or Dutch.
• Nice to have: experience in the electricity or energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for IT implementations, overseeing activities from solution definition through to deployment and operations.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Contribute to solution architecture and ensure designs adhere to security and technology standards.
• Coordinate with internal platforms during delivery and operations.
• Lead build and deployment of custom solutions and manage integration of off-the-shelf software.
• Perform fit-gap analyses and contribute to evaluations and software selection.
• Support incident and maintenance by monitoring supplier performance and SLAs.
